We are a small firm offering a specialized level of services to a narrowly defined but geographically scattered market. We have 300+ clients that we advise on IRR and liquidity risk in over 40 states from Alaska to Florida. The utilization of technology such as web-based conferencing and training allows us to provide extensive support and training as part of our regular service.
In the early years of the business, Mark traveled the country giving seminars and personally visiting credit unions. It was effective but expensive and time-consuming. The goal of his travel was to get the company name out in front of the credit union public in a positive way. In addition, we utilized traditional approaches such as direct mail, attending association meetings and advertising in trade publications.
It’s natural to be dubious when offered something for free.
As technology has evolved, we can now deliver valuable training and support such as webinars, newsletters, and specialized documents more conveniently and cost-effectively. This approach has been embraced by our clients. In addition, we opened our webinars, newsletters, and policy templates free of charge to the general credit union public.
It’s a win-win for all concerned.
Our clients benefit by receiving valuable support and training without the travel constraints. Non-clients are also able to benefit from the presentations and our extensive industry experience. In addition, they have the opportunity to become familiar with our services and the possible benefits of becoming a client.
